Im going to go out and about today and scout out some places that i intend to shoot this wonderful idea of mine, also going to do a little trial video for a presentation in a few weeks to show off that i can do it!
So i wanted to try and practice a little bit of rotoscoping before actually filming and then being faced with the task of rotoscoping 7 mins of films which i found out that for A scanner darkly 1 min took them 250 hours sooooooo yeah practice would be rather important, so here is a picture i practiced on, the one on the left is my attempt at rotoscoping and the one on the right is the original picture
Just so you know that this is what rotoscope is, it’s where it is filmed on a normal camera then frame by frame is scratched over
Completely changed my idea for my final project last night, instead of the almost impossible ( not impossible just not possible for my brain capacity ) task of of forcing different emotions onto people I am now going to create a short story which will include a dream sequence but using a type of design called rotoscope it’s going to be really hard to do and way out of my comfort zone but I’m defiantly looking forward to it!

So im coming back to tumblr in an attempt to make some sort of portfolio for uni and hopefully get myself out there in to the “real world” (the reason i quote “real world” is because of a talk me and my tutor had about the concept of the matrix and what is actually classed as the real world) some deep stuff right there, but hopefully i will be keeping up with this and adding new stuff daily
